Assistance to refugees

Bringing together Ukrainian refugee musicians in Spain, Barcelona, and Provence, France, to create an artistic community that meets regularly to play together and give concerts. The goal is to build connections, spread joy, offer mutual support, and raise funds that will remunerate their work and support artistic initiatives, including concert production, instrument rental, music studies and lessons, singing, composition, and competition fees.​

Our initiatives​

Welcoming refugees, preparing a music program, providing instruments, rehearsal space, therapeutic listening, meals, and small group meetings. 

Achievements

​

  • Creation of an ensemble of 20 musicians, sharing meals, translation, and Spanish language learning.  

  • 2 concerts given for 350 students and teachers at St. George's British School of Barcelona.  

  • 1 concert and 1 screening by director Laurent Jaoui at the French Institute in Barcelona.  

  • 2 hospitals assisted in Ukraine through the delivery of medical equipment.  

  • 3 jobs assigned in the music field.  

  • Connecting with local authorities, refugee-related associations, and developing artistic projects with other organizations.  

  • Donations received.

Donations help integrate isolated individuals and nurture connections to continue producing music lessons, creative workshops, concerts, renting or purchasing instruments, and providing music therapy support for children or adults who are in need, in crisis situations, or displaced.
