VISION

Vision is a living exhibition, an artistic journey in four tableaux—Blue, Red, Yellow, White—blending music, song, video, dance, and texts. This creation draws inspiration from musical, pictorial, poetic, and philosophical works, notably Joseph Haydn's The Creation, the writings of William Blake and Walt Whitman, as well as Plato's allegory of the Cave.

Conceived as a contemporary take on Genesis, Vision was born from a desire to showcase the arts rather than simply represent them. The scenes are experienced as paintings imbued with the present moment, inviting the audience to explore emotions and share the intimacy of their feelings. Actors, dancers, singers, and spectators alike become participants in an immersive journey, rooted in the experience of the moment.

The exhibition comes alive through breath: that of the opera singer and that of the choreographer. The scenography is based on a spinning motion, centered on breath and whirling, a legacy of the whirling dervishes. Singing, vocal performance, musical composition, movement, stage progression, and the projection of nature images, as well as a film made with the actors, are all explored through the aesthetics of the dancing body.

This approach is part of the physical and metaphysical research of choreosophy, a practice developed by Michel Raji, where movement, breath and presence become vectors of meaning, transformation and sharing.
